The IDTA is pleased to introduce the Digital IDTA Membership Card, providing members with a simpler, more convenient way to access their membership credentials wherever they are.
As part of the Association’s ongoing digital transformation programme, members can now access their membership card directly from their mobile device and store it securely in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for instant access whenever it is needed.
Membership at your fingertips
The new digital card has been designed to make membership more accessible and easier to manage. Whether you’re attending an IDTA event, examination session, training course, or simply need to verify your membership status, your card is always available on your smartphone.
The digital format offers a range of benefits, including:
- Convenient access from your mobile device
- No usernames or passwords to remember
- Secure and simple access to your membership details
- Compatibility with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
- An environmentally friendly alternative to plastic cards
- Reduced risk of losing or forgetting your membership card
Easy to access
Accessing your digital membership card is straightforward. Members simply enter their email address via the IDTA membership card page and receive a secure link by email. This link provides immediate access to their digital card and the option to add it to their preferred mobile wallet.
Physical membership cards still available
While the digital card is now the default membership option, members who prefer a traditional card can still request a physical membership card. Physical cards remain available upon request and are subject to a £10 administration fee.
Looking ahead
The launch of the Digital IDTA Membership Card represents another step forward in modernising member services and improving convenience for members across the Association. By embracing digital solutions, the IDTA continues to enhance the membership experience while reducing environmental impact and ensuring membership information remains current and accessible.
We encourage all members to take advantage of this new service and enjoy the convenience of having their IDTA membership card readily available whenever and wherever it is needed.
