IDTA Vetting Scheme Application

    Application to participate in the IDTA vetting scheme

     

    I, working under the name of and IDTA membership number hereby request to participate in the IDTA vetting scheme.

     

    In doing so I understand that if I work in England or Wales I will be required to apply for disclosure and barring service enhanced disclosure costing £58.40 including VAT

     

    If I work in Scotland I will be required to join the PVG scheme costing £79.40 including VAT or if I am already a member of the PVG scheme, present the latest PVG scheme record and apply for PVG scheme update at a cost of £38.40 including VAT.

     

    If I work in Northern Ireland I will be required to apply for an enhanced access NI check at the cost of £53.40 including VAT

     

    I have read the IDTA's policies in relation vetting, disclosure and barring and I'm aware of the IDTA's commitment to safeguarding and my role within that.

     

    As a participant in the scheme, I agreed to:

    • notify the IDTA in the event that I am charged with any criminal offence subsequent to joining the vetting scheme

    • notify the IDTA in the event that I am the subject of any report made to disclosure Scotland or the DBS service and submitted after the date of my joining the scheme

    • to cooperate fully in the IDTA’s process for evaluating the seriousness and relevance of any information shown on the disclosure PVG scheme or access NI report

    • permit the IDTA to retain on file any relevant information about me needed to operate the scheme and any information that may be required to assess my suitability to participate in it subject to such information being known to me and accessible by myself

    • renew my membership of this game every 36 months or sooner at the specific request at the IDTA
    • Return all IDTA certificates issued to the IDTA upon request.

    • Consent for my name to be appear under the online DDC IDTA Vetting Scheme list.

     

    I dodo not have any unspent or spent criminal convictions

     

    My name doesdoes not appear on any government held list of persons deemed unsuitable to work with children or vulnerable adults

Please be aware that decisions about previous convictions and your suitability as an IDTA member will be made on a case-by-case basis and it should not be assumed that a previous conviction which is unrelated to children, at-risk adults or safety would prevent a member from continuing their membership. Please be aware it is a breach of IDTA membership not to disclose this information.
