Amanda Restell
With a dedicated teaching career spanning 31 years at my successful school in Essex and being an examiner for the IDTA for over 10 years, I bring a wealth of experience and commitment to this role. I am actively involved in my area as deputy chairperson and organiser of the performance awards.
My background in business has equipped me with the strategic insights and leadership skills necessary to contribute effectively to the board. Prior to opening my own dance school, I worked for a major retailer in their buying and merchandising office. During this time, I managed budgets and developed a keen understanding of financial management and organizational growth.
My passion for the IDTA drives my ambition to serve on the board. I believe in the transformative power of dance, and I am committed to furthering the mission and vision of the IDTA. My experience and enthusiasm will be instrumental in supporting and advancing the interests of our wonderful dance community.
I look forward to the opportunity to bring my expertise and dedication to the board, ensuring that we continue to thrive and make a positive impact.
