The IDTA is proud to support the Let’s Dance! campaign, which had its press launch at the City of London’s Guildhall on February 8. The event, featuring Angela Rippon CBE, an IDTA patron, along with fellow patrons Anton Du Beke and Arlene Phillips, brought together stars from Strictly Come Dancing, dance groups, and national media to raise awareness for the national day of dance on March 2.
Let’s Dance! is the UK’s largest dance event, inviting everyone to join in the fun. The campaign aims to:
- Raise awareness of the mental and physical health benefits of dance.
- Make it easier for people to find suitable dance activities, regardless of fitness level, age, or experience.
- Bring people together to connect through dance.
The IDTA encourages all teachers to participate and get their students dancing. We invite everyone to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #LetsDance.

Let’s get moving, connect, and have fun together!
